Singles and Social Clubs  - Alpine trips

During the winter months we organise Skiing and Snowboarding trips.These weekends are lots of fun with an all up package supplied. Accommodation and meals are at Turoa Lodge, transport is provided by us and we specialise in personal service on the mountain.

No matter what your level of skiing ability you are, we make sure you are well looked after and enjoy your weekend.

Marine Activities


Sea Kayaking Day and Overnight Trips 

This is something we have grown to really love. Every chance we get we are out on the water with our families and friends. Chris has now completed a NZKI One Star, Kayaking Instructors course, with the help of James and Dale from Canoe and Kayak, Manukau.In 2009 Chris is working with Canoe and Kayak on completing an eskimo rolling course and achieving the next instructors level. 

We fullly recommend this business to all and support the efforts they are putting into the development of safe Kayaking in NZ

Sailing Adventure on "Rhythm of Life".

A day out on a 13m fast cruiser/racer keel yacht, experiencing the thrill and speed of a top quality sailing vessel. You will be encouraged to be part of the sailing crew, as the captain believes in a "hands on" approach. Includes basic navigation, safe boating practise and sailing skills by two very experienced sailors and teachers.

SUMMER Alpine Activities

The Tongariro Crossing.

This is one of those very special NZ adventures designed to challenge everyone. You need to be very fit, as this is a 8 hour hike on what is known as "THE GREATEST ONE DAY WALK IN NEW ZEALAND". The group travels down the day before, sets up base at Tongaririo Holiday Park and prepare and check, very carefully, all equipment and essentials for the tramping day. Risk management procedures finalised with DOC Rangers and staff.

We start the tramp at 8.00am from the Mangatepopo entrance on the western side of Mt Tongariro and walk to the base of the "Staircase". From here it is a very physical 1 hour, near vertical climb up to the crater of Mt Tongariro.
" The Crossing" is a very full days hike into a harsh mountain enviroment and travels over steep and often very difficult terrain. Students will learn the importance of careful preparation, leadership, having the right clothing/boots/equipment and the value of a high degree of personal fitness.
